Cindy Liebel’s artist journey hasn’t been linear. She was always inspired by her grandfather’s love of photography—and even chose to study it in college—but ultimately chose a career in business. Years later, she would return to creative work, making jewelry for loved ones at first. “[I] decided to learn metalsmithing, and I’ve not looked back since,” she says. Cindy set up a studio in her backyard, which is where she designs and creates her unique pieces. She lives in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
