Happy Mother's Day to the best mama bear I could have asked for. ♡ She is one of the strongest people I know, and I feel blessed and honored to call her my mom. I'd debated getting this for my mom for over a year, and I'm glad I finally bit the bullet. There's a lot of symbolism behind it. Some of the biggest chapters of her life took place in the mountains — she feels at home there. 🏔🏞⛰ When I was growing up, one week of the summer, every year, was spent camping at Fallen Leaf Lake. 🏕 It was practically tradition to see at least one bear every trip, since they loved to walk through camp ("DAN! BEAR!"). One of those trips, we saw a mama and two cubs. (Fun Fact: My godmom grabbed that mama bear's butt thinking it was my mom's! But that's a story for another day.) 🐻 This tealight holder is a gift that encapsulates so many memories. One of my love languages is gift-giving, and I hope this gift brings my mommy warmth when she looks at its glow. To everyone out there who gets called "mom" — be it for friends, children, pets, whatever — I hope you felt extra appreciated today. “I try to design items that I would want in my own home or office. I think about things I'd love to have that don't exist and try to breathe life into those concepts.”

Eric Gross grew up on a small family farm, where there always seemed to be some piece of equipment in need of maintenance or repair. He developed the basic skills of metal working from his father and grandfather, spending countless hours in their old white barn, watching them work.

Eric chose to study mechanical engineering in college, hoping to put his knowledge of materials and machinery to good use. He eventually grew bored of designing widgets and decided to use his metalworking skills and equipment to create original, whimsical, and functional items for the home.
