"I didn't grow up an outdoorsy person," says Cincinnati-born Stephanie Szarwark, "but I fell in love with it once I started rock climbing in California." Painting and drawing ever since she was 6 years old, the artist moved to San Francisco after college and never left. Adventures with friends in California's cities and mountains inspire Stephanie's work. Living and creating out of a studio apartment, she credits her brand-designer background as a significant influence on her simplistic style.
