Inspired by her love of literature, Kelly Mitchell adds tantalizing hints about four classic novels to a design based on vintage back-of-book library cards. (Fun fact: The official librarian’s name for these is borrowing cards.) Feeling stumped as you sip? Flip the coaster over to see the name of the novel and its author.

  • Set includes four 4.25" x 4.25" coasters printed with Kelly’s artwork and a cork storage tray that doubles as a trivet.
  • Each coaster is glazed ceramic with a cork backing.

Kelly Mitchell never thought of herself as the artist type. A bibliophile with a love for classic literature, her treasure hunts through dusty bookshelves led to her discovery of vintage atlases. She began creating as a way to fill her home with art that was special to her, and a part-time hobby turned into a business as she gifted her pieces, then began selling them at local craft fairs. Today she works from her home studio in New Hampshire, where she designs, prints, and packs all her items.
