Debra Schwartz's ceramic chillers are as pretty as a garden party and they keep your drink at its most flavorful temperature without watering it down. Debra works with stoneware, earthenware, and porcelain to create an appealing blend of textures. Then she hand-paints each piece with vibrant flowers that look even glowier in wine, champagne, whiskey, and cocktails, and fires them in the kiln. Keep this set of four colorful stones in the freezer and they'll stay frosty to drop in your glass anytime. Handmade in New York.

Before becoming an artist, native New Yorker Debra Schwartz enjoyed a diverse career that included law, real estate, and founding a subscription-based mail-order company. A pottery class proved to be a turning point: "As soon as I got my hands into the clay, I knew this would become part of my life." Today Debra creates her ceramic pieces in the basement studio of her home on Long Island's scenic North Fork, where the natural beauty, vineyards, and farms are a never-ending source of inspiration.

Care

Place in the freezer 3 -4 hours prior to use (or store in the freezer) then place in glass prior to pouring. After use wash gently with dishwashing soap. The stones are then ready to refreeze and reuse
