Your oh-so-dearly–beloved fur baby has crossed the rainbow bridge. Benjamin Giguere's wearable memento—a sweet paw-print pendant with cremated remains melded into the handblown glass—will rest near your heart to comfort you as you grieve.

  • You send a teaspoon of your pet's ashes to his studio. A glassblower heats glass to a molten state, removes it to add a thin layer of ashes, returns it to the flame, and sculpts it.
  • The finished pendant is set on rhodium-plated metal backing with a hand-carved heart on the back, and hangs on an 18" sterling silver chain.
  • Handmade in Rhode Island.

When Benjamin Giguere accepted a temp job at a small-town crystal factory in Vermont, he never could have known that it’d lead to a 22-year-and-counting career in glass art. But once his interest was piqued, there was no turning back. Benjamin has since apprenticed with masters of the craft all over the world, experimenting with color and techniques and honing his talent. Eventually, this led to creating a thriving studio in Providence, Rhode Island, where he not only showcases his stunning creations, but also passes his knowledge and experience on to future leaders in the field.

This is a made-to-order item that ships directly from the maker. You will receive a pre-paid shipping label and envelope to mail your completed kit to the artist. An expected ship date for your item will be provided after the artist receives your kit. This item typically ships 6 weeks after the artist receives your kit.
