Benjamin Giguere melds cremated remains into a work of wearable, memorial glass art—a moving reminder that, "from the stars we came, and to the stars we return."

You send a teaspoon of your loved one's ashes to Benjamin's studio. A glassblower heats glass to a molten state, removes it to add a thin layer of the ash swirls, returns it to the flame, and sculpts it.
The finished pendant is set on a rhodium-plated backing engraved with a heart, and hangs from an 18" sterling silver cable chain.
Handmade in Rhode Island.

When Benjamin Giguere accepted a temp job at a small-town crystal factory in Vermont, he never could have known that it’d lead to a 22-year-and-counting career in glass art. But once his interest was piqued, there was no turning back. Benjamin has since apprenticed with masters of the craft all over the world, experimenting with color and techniques and honing his talent. Eventually, this led to creating a thriving studio in Providence, Rhode Island, where he not only showcases his stunning creations, but also passes his knowledge and experience on to future leaders in the field.
