I love these glasses!

My wedge glasses are an excellent addition to my bar gear. It is best on liquor that's already chilled, but pouring a nice shot of my favorite Bourbon also works great. I just leave it on the wedge a bit longer before starting in. A bonus factor is how cool this glass looks when you serve it!

Fun gift

Interesting, uncommon gift for an adult beverage drinker. It was a tad hard getting the silicone mold out but that was due to over-filling the mold with water before freezing. Otherwise hubby liked it. You do have to be careful putting fragile glass in the freezer. I know I will end up breaking it one day.

Fun and excellent

Was a gift for 2 people who are friends and occasionally shave a drink after work. Both loved it. Said it was the coldest Burbon they ever had.

Genius!!!!

What a fantastic solution to diluted drinks! Why didn't I think of it? It's the type of invention that keeps me coming back to Uncommon Goods.

Perfect Gift for a Whiskey Lover

Uncommon Goods is a go-to site to find gifts for special people. I always find interesting and unusual items that aren't available everywhere else. This glass is no exception. It is perfect for someone who likes his/her whiskey chilled, but who doesn't want to dilute it with ice. It is also visually striking and a pleasure to hold.

Great Concept and Great Ice if you like it cold

Absolutely LOVED these - GREAT GIFT!!

I purchased these as a Christmas gift. The next day I received an excited call from my step-dad telling me they were one of the most favorite gifts he has ever received and that he absolutely LOVED them!

Some reviews say they use one and keep one in the freezer. If you order quantity 1, do you get just one glass, or do you get a set of two? How many silicone wedges? Thanks!

Thanks for taking the time to write to us. When you purchase this set it is for a single glass with mold. This ensures that your glass will be picture perfect and fits fashionably well.

If you purchase quantity 1, does this mean you only can freeze one wedge at a time? Or do you get a whole bunch of wedges (like an ice tray)?

I'm having a hard time picturing how this works. Does the whiskey touch the ice ramp in the glass, or is the ice formed behind a barrier in the glass, so it chills the whisky but doesn't touch it?

Thanks for your question. Yes, the whiskey touches the ice ramp in the glass. You freeze the cube in the glass itself, with the silicone mold covering it to create the wedge shape. Then you remove the silicone. The large, shaped ice wedge will melt much more slowly than a traditional cube, so it retains the whiskey's full flavor. Thanks for shopping with UncommonGoods!
