Cute gift

This is a sweet gift and I do think my mother will like it. Only downside is some of the letters are a little repetitive. As long as she doesn't open them all within a week it should be ok.

My 98 Year Old Mom is Too Far Away

The letters to my mom, to be opened at various moments and upon various occasions, is a wonderful gift for Mom for Mother's Day. I try to get home as often as once a year, but financing can be prohibitive for a high school teacher to travel across the country. I call my mom every Saturday and Sunday, and miss her warmth, her love, her loving strength, and her firm beliefs every day. This gift afforded me the option to pour out thoughts and memories for her to open whenever she saw fit. It is a wonderful idea to give a mother. I cried tears of joy and sorrow as I wrote each one, as I know she will as she reads them.

My mom loved it

I got this to fill in and give to my mother on her birthday. She cried just opening it and I know she'll enjoy reading the letters over the next year. The letters, envelopes, and packaging are really well done; it's a very nice looking fit and seems high quality. Some of the prompts I found really useful, but others less so. Your individual mileage will likely vary. I think of them more like a mad-libs, where you filling descriptions in pre-written narratives. In hindsight, I would have preferred a more open-ended prompt. But, there is also space at the bottom of each to write your notes or memories. #sweepstakes

Great idea, not the best execution

When I saw this box of letters for mom I really was thinking it would be the perfect gift. I can't always be with my mom and it's something special for her to have when I'm not there. However, I was a little disappointed in the lack luster of the wording in the letters. Very generic almost corny wording. I wish I could've had the space to really talk to my mom about some special moments in our lives but it just wasn't there. Will she like it? Sure. Could it have been more special and sentimental? Absolutely.

Can you tell me what the size of each individual card is (when opened)? Also, what size are the envelopes?

Is the artist of these "Letters to My Mom have any plans to produce Letters to My Son/Daughter? I as a mother missing one of each I would be so interested in both of these. I also think you could make them seasonal which could spark some more specific emotions of holidays, vacations, building snowmen and so much more. Just saying. Please give this some thought.
