Maybe you’ve worked at a library, or perhaps you’ve just daydreamed about getting to spend your day among all…those…beautiful books. Well, it’s time to put those bibliophilic reveries to the test. Gather your fellow would-be librarians and challenge each other to a fast-paced game of literary knowledge and speed as you race to tidy up the library before closing time.
- Each card in the deck represents a renowned work of literarure. Be the first to return all your titles to the shelf in order of their publication dates. Be careful: The game gets harder as the shelf becomes fuller.
- Because life isn’t always that peaceful in the library, watch out for pesky "Library Cards" (from sudden late fines to unsolicited book swaps with other players) that crop up to make the game more challenging.
- Titles featured on the cards cover a wide range of literary genres and time periods, from beloved classics like Pride and Prejudice to modern bestsellers and young-adult favorites.
- You don't need to be a lit major to play: Modify the game for junior librarians or those less confident in their bookish knowledge by removing some cards to make it fun for everyone.
- For 1–6 players.
- Recommended for ages 12+ (but easily adaptable for younger players).
- Made in UK.
