Magic Eraser tip is a lifesaver!!
I have two others of these posters previously purchased from Uncommon goods. I was so sad that they both stopped being able to get scratched off with time. I was looking to see if other complained about that in the reviews and saw the person who recommended the magic eraser. Does the trick! Thank you! Unfortunately I ruined my poster scratching before I saw that, but I hope to save others from doing the same. And I'm excited to know a solution so I can re-purchase.

Great way to encourage my teens to read more ;)
Got one for my teen nephew and fam and one for my teenager daughter and our fam. It's been a fun but still fierce competition between our two families. It hangs in our living room and we scratch off as we go. Super fun!

Scratch offs didn't work after a year
After a year or so, when I went to scratch off another book I had read, I discovered that all the silver coverings had hardened to where you couldn't scratch them off. Such a disappointment.
Response from merchant
Thank you for letting us know, we're so sorry that the scratch offs stopped working! We've passed the feedback along to our team and are happy to see that you've already taken advantage of our Forever Return Policy!

Excited to Complete!
This poster is such a great idea. It gives me a plethora of books to read that cover many genres. This task will likely take my lifetime, but I'm excited to complete this list! And I love the satisfaction of scratching off a tile once I complete a book. Highly recommend for any readers in your life!

I would buy it again tomorrow
My daughter is an avid reader, and she absolutely loves this. It is so fun to see her adventure out to books that she may not affect her self. When she is done with them, she loves to scratch off the squares and tell me all about the book. Usually I am the next to read it.

My sister loved it!
My sister said she would hang this up in her home office - it has sort of a double function of "art" and "reading progress tracking". Also, she was excited because she had already read several of the classic books on the poster, but there were many she had heard of but never read. I think she is excited for the challenge.

some bizarre choices
For example, "The Little Woman" by Gladys Aylward, but not "Little Women" by Louisa May Alcott. If you've never heard of "The Little Woman" before, it's a 150-page memoir published by an evangelical press in 1970 by a British missionary who spent twenty years preaching the gospel in China. You're boiling the entire Western literary canon down to 100 books, & this book, which is so obscure that my major metropolitan library system doesn't own a copy, made the cut? I'm American; maybe this book is a WAY bigger deal in the UK, but it seems like a super-weird choice.

Clever idea
I don't write reviews, but this is an exception. My grandson bought his 14 year old brother this poster. The 14 year old and I decided that I should buy one too and we would Read together. On our respective posters, We scratched off the bottom half of every book he read in Illinois and the top half of all the books I read in Michigan/Florida. Our posters are tacked prominently to our bedroom walls. We look up bookclub questions and discuss what we read.

I noticed in the book list that you list T.S. Eliot as the author of Middlemarch. Middlemarch was written by George Eliot. Two very different people. Does the poster have this mistake on it?

Hi and thanks for posting! We've notified the vendor and are working on getting a corrected/updated PDF, however the poster is accurate.

I bought this poster, but I noticed some of the books are in a series, but the series are not listed. For example, "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" by John Carre is actually book number 5 in a series. Is this list suggesting to only read this one book, or the whole series? Would it even make sense to just read the one book? Thank you
Verified reply from Allison
If a book is part of a series, consider it a challenge to read the whole series. You got this!

I am looking at the Book scratch off for a high school library book club. However, I would like some details of books, incase of inappropriate content. (Sexual content or extreme violence, language ). I greatly appreciate it :)

Hi there! There are some dark literature (Game of thrones and American Psycho). Here is a partial list of books and authors included in the scratch off: https://flowslowly.com/pdf/47295_alt.pdf

Where did you get the list of books that's featured in the poster?

The makers have compiled a list of timeless and popular books widely regarded as classics, however this list does not reflect any organization's official top-rated list.

Where might I find the list of the 100 books included on this product?
Verified reply from Alice
We do not have a list, however we photographed the print in such a way that you can use zoom to see the text. Let us know if you are having trouble seeing it, but you should be able to zoom-in on the photo to see the names of each title.
