My hometown is…
New York! Born and raised.
I’m inspired by…
My Mother. She was the true definition of an independent woman that still made her family her top priority. A walking miracle.
My favorite process in the UncommonGoods warehouse is…
Exporting.
Something that always makes me laugh..
Seeing my son do the latest dance move. He will practice it then do it, non stop, for months.
The most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen is…
An older couple (probably in their 70’s) at a Harlem event and still madly in love. I mean, he had her blushing and he couldn’t take his eyes off of her. In this day and age when divorce is so common, it’s nice to see true love still exist.
When I’m not working, I’m probably…
With my family playing board games and watching The Flash.
The word that best describes me is…
Motherly. I try my best to look out for everybody and give them all the advice I have gathered over the years.
Since working at UncommonGoods I’ve learned…
Patience.
Would you rather get front row seats to see your favorite comedian perform all new material OR get to eat for free at your favorite restaurant for a month?
Eat for free 100%. I LOVE food and my favorite place to go is a restaurant called Fogo De Chao. All you can eat, top quality steak, chicken, and pork will always be a win in my book. If that were to ever happen, I’m certain that I would have a bed within the restaurant.

My hometown is…
Verona, PA (a suburb of Pittsburgh).
My favorite food of all time is…
Any kind of pasta, but it has to be made with my mother’s homemade sauce!
My favorite place to hang out in New York City is…
Fort Greene Park. It’s only a couple of blocks from my apartment and an amazing place to relax without a lot of noise or people. It’s also got a great view of Manhattan from the monument at the top of the park.
The best customer interaction I’ve had at UncommonGoods is…
A repeat customer from the past two holiday seasons. I helped pick out gifts for her grandchildren both times. This year she actually called back after Christmas to thank me and to let me know she’ll be calling for me again in November.
Since working at UncommonGoods I’ve learned…
What it’s like to be part of a team where everyone helps each other out no matter how busy it is.
I’m inspired by…
People who are willing to take risks and deal with the challenges they face in order to try and better themselves. I’m also inspired by people that help others and never expect anything in return.
An uncommon fact about me is…
That I played basketball for 2 weeks in 6th grade until my coach decided that even though I was really tall for my age I had no coordination. A fact that is embarrassingly still true today. I trip constantly walking down the sidewalk and up the stairs and am always walking into something.

An uncommon fact about me….
I’m a BBQ Pit Master in training— Well, it is more of a hobby right now, but I’m working toward perfecting my smoked ribs.

Adventurous and hungry.
If I won the lottery, I’d…
Buy myself a little island.
Something that always calms me is…

If I could travel back in time, I’d…
Try to have a bigger impact on making the world a better place.
Would you rather… be a famous chef, or a famous sports star?
Definitely famous chef.

I’m inspired by…
My sailing adventures… I have been sailing all my life. My parents have always been big sailors, so I was on board as soon as I was born. They would tie down our car seats in the cockpit and baby jumpers were attached to the boom. I can’t go as often as I used to, but we still take two weeks in the summer to bounce around the Elizabeth Islands. My favorite stop is Cuttyhunk Island, a small fishing village with a handful of locals. There is no real electricity on board so we spend a lot of time playing cards, reading, drawing, and exploring beaches and coves. It is really cool to be so disconnected and adventurous!
