Krissy Osborne, Associate Art Buyer
My hometown…
Granby, Connecticut.
I’m inspired by…
Understanding how things are made! Before moving to New York City, I wanted to learn more about natural sugars, so I began helping a nearby maple farmer during sugar season, and a neighborhood bee-keeper with honey harvesting. I love the idea of looking to people in your own community for knowledge and expertise. People love sharing what they’re passionate about and you’re getting valuable insights straight from the source – and I got paid in syrup, which was amazing.
An uncommon fact about me…
In college, I lived in a thirteenth century Italian convent with sixteen girls and three nuns. It felt just like the children’s story, Madeline, and was completely magical.
The word or phrase that best describes me…
Anxiously optimistic.
If I could learn to do one thing perfectly, it would be…
Starting a fire from scratch. No matches.
My favorite food of all time is…
Salty Honey Pie from Four & Twenty Blackbirds.
My style is…
Scandinavian minimalism meets Little House on the Prairie in a jungle. I have a lot of plants.
If I could throw the perfect party…
It really wouldn’t matter because I would die of a panic attack before the party even started.
When I was a kid my favorite television program was…
I was and still am a HUGE fan of Sesame Street.
