Congratulations to our winner, Lucy, who said:
I hate being tied to a phone, so will gladly turn it off for myself. I will also tell all those who regularly call me that I will have it off and they should call me the day before or after Valentine’s Day. I want to devote and focus the entire day on my family, not my phone. One I love (family); one I merely tolerate (phone).
Every Valentine’s Day, we try to make time for the people we care about in our lives.
And our new Phonekerchief is a great way to signal your date that you’re not busy– your attention is all on them.
It’s not always easy to do. We’ve all got texts, apps, emails, and to-do lists. But this Valentine’s Day, we’re all trying to send the message, “My phone is off for you.”
Who will you turn your phone off for? Let us know for a chance to win a sweet Valentine’s Day gift.
Winner announced on Friday.

I will turn my phone off for my husband. We were just recently married and with him being a graduate student and me working full time the time we do have together is way to important to have work emails, texts, and calls coming through. Although, I do often need to be reminded on that from time to time–maybe this will me my new reminder 🙂
How ’bout I will put it on “Silent” for my husband provided we are out doing something romantic! Lol! …I would turn it off for Jesus Christ himself! But, that’s about it!
This Valentine’s Day I will turn my phone off for my two people my husband and son. Two years ago on Valentine’s Day my husband was home on R&R from Iraq when we gave birth to our first son William on Valentine’s Day. This Valentines Day I turn my phone off to really spend time with them. Working for the Army and living overseas our phone never stops ringing and emails never quits. But this day we will spend really with each other before he leaves for Afghanistan. Each life event and day that we get to spend together is a gift and we will not take that for granted.
I would turn my phone off for my family-my mom, dad, and little sister.
I will definitely TURN MY PHONE OFF for the LOVES of my LIFE: God (every morning); My Husband (every date); My four daughters (every GIRL TALK). Thanks for the reminder! This is gonna make me a better person.
I’d put it on “silent” to avoid hearing the ring during that romantic dinner. But since I do not have Internet access on my phone, I am not addicted to it so use it only for occasional phone-calls and texts.
I’ll be leaving my phone ON – my husband’s deployed and it’s my birthday! 🙂 If he were home, I would totally turn it off for him!
Okay, so can I turn my phone off for me? I do have a sweetie, but I would rather turn the phone off for me, due to the texts, messages, emails and calls that come in…I would rather allow myself to not be distracted and enjoy the day with the sweetie!
I would turn my phone off for work… I don’t want them reaching me when I called in sick to spend V-Day with my honey!!
I am turning my phone off for my sweet husband. We deserve a nice dinner out with no distractions 🙂 Maybe I can convince him to turn his off too… he is addicted to it. If only phones still just wanted to be a phone.
I will turn my phone off for my boyfriend. We have to celebrate it the day before, but it will be off all day for him. He lives forty-five minutes away from me, and we only get to see each other once a week for one day due to his work schedule. It’s our first Valentine’s day together, and we hope to make it special.

I don’t turn my phone on very often, so the question is, “who would you turn your phone ON for?”
I can be rather attached to my phone but I will be turning my phone off for my 6 month old daughter (and my husband!) It’s my first Valentine’s day as a mom and I look forward to celebrating another holiday with Harper.

April will be 6 years my husband and I are married. We enjoy going out to eat often – except on Valentine’s day. It’s the only day of the year that we stay home, cook dinner and use our “had to register for” china. Looking back we really did not need it, but it is now a tradition we look forward to every year. We have a 2 year old little girl who has joined our tradition. Looking into the future I’m hoping we are blessed enough to use all 12 settings we received on Valentine’s day with people we love. My phone will be off for my family.
